Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers before you take the next step.

What exactly is the Restoration Diagnostic?

It is a focused marriage assessment and coaching session designed to help a couple understand the condition of the marriage, identify the most important patterns and priorities, and leave with a practical Restoration Action Plan. It is not only for marriages in crisis; couples who sense drift, disconnection, stuck patterns, or recurring breakdowns are often in an excellent position to benefit from early clarity.

How long is the session?

The Diagnostic itself is designed for 75–90 minutes. We reserve a 90-minute appointment window and protect an additional 30 minutes afterward so the session does not need to feel rushed.

What does the $249 include?

The founding rate includes the pre-session Intake & Safety Screen, separate Marriage Alignment Assessments for both spouses, coach preparation, the 75–90 minute Restoration Diagnostic, a prioritized Restoration Action Plan, and a two-week follow-up.

Do both spouses need to participate?

The offer is designed for couples, and both spouses participating gives the clearest picture. If your situation is unusual, contact The Marriage Medic before booking.

Is this marriage counseling or therapy?

No. The Restoration Diagnostic is a coaching and diagnostic-support service. It does not replace psychotherapy, medical or mental-health treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services.

What happens if the safety screen reveals a serious concern?

Safety takes priority over the normal coaching process. Some situations may require referral, specialized care, or immediate support before marriage coaching is appropriate.

What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Please make changes at least 48 hours before your appointment. Preparation begins before the session, so late changes are handled according to the booking policy you accept at checkout.

What happens after the two-week follow-up?

You will review what changed, what remains unresolved, and whether another Marriage Medic resource or coaching pathway would be useful. There is no automatic obligation to continue.
